This 6000 tonne steel structure is due to be installed in the North Sea to support a new wellhead platform topsides, which will be Bridge linked to Apache North Sea Ltd’s existing Forties Alpha Oil Production Platform, which Apache acquired from BP in 2003.  It will stand on the seabed, in 106m of water, supported by twelve tubular steel piles driven into the seabed.
